Welcome to the Pakistan Young Leaders’ Conference Official Website |

Assalamu alaykum and Welcome to the Pakistan Young Leaders’ Conference 2010 official website.
I would like to thank you for taking an interest in this latest venture of the National Union of Pakistani Students and Alumni.
As you may already know, the Pakistan Young Leaders’ Conference was initially a concept which was hosted by NUPSA representatives in Islamabad as a celebration of Pakistan’s 62nd birthday. The conference was hosted not only by Talat Hussain, but was attended by significant politicians who were presented proposals by students working in each of the committees designed to tackle the predominant issues within our country. Due to the hard work put in by our students, two of such proposals were implemented in constitution of Pakistan.
Following the success of the PYLC in Islamabad, I am honoured to present to you the PYLC 2010, the first part of which is to be hosted at the University of Oxford on the 30/31 January. Again, the closing session of the conference is to be covered by Talat Hussain and notable politicians. We hope that you will take this initiative to really make a material difference. Remember, be the change which you want to see!
After the UK conference, we will be holding the second part of the conference in Islamabad on 11th-14th February. Again, I would urge you to take part in this. By integrating both, views from the UK and Pakistan, we hope to prepare a document which will be handed to our policy makers. It is up to you to take part and to make this very strong impact.
I hope that I will meet many of you in both the UK and in Pakistan. Let the minds start thinking!
Qasim Raza
PYLC Director General
